Starting as a one-man machine shop in the mid 1970s based in Northeastern Nova Scotia, MacGregor’s has now grown to be one of the largest and well-equipped machining, fabrication, and industrial supply shops in Atlantic Canada. 35 years in the metal fabrication and machining industry will teach you a lot, and we apply those lessons to each and every facet of our business.
Through the expansion of our product and service offerings, customer service and commitment to quality are still incorporated into every aspect of our operations. By maintaining these core values, we have been able to expand our client base into the Canadian Arctic, the Caribbean region, and many other points in North America.

Our machining and fabrication capabilities range from one off custom components to mass production manufacturing and production line assembly. From a one off job to a turn key, no job is too large or too small. Our Industrial Sales and Hydraulics divisions make the full circle, enabling us to be competitive on projects through the elimination of outsourcing while offering our clients a ‘one-stop shop’ approach.
At MacGregor’s, we are ISO 9001:2008 certified, CWB certified, and maintain a stringent in-house safety program to ensure every project goes out the door to only the highest standards.
Located just 90 minutes from the Port of Halifax, we are capable of shipping our products to any point in the world quickly, efficiently, and competitively. We offer freight forwarding and consolidation services for all of our projects, further eliminating the need to outsource.
